Review: VaporKing 510

Vapor King 510 is an electronic cigarette made by ElectronicCigarettesInc which I have recently purchased.

An electronic cigarette is basically a mini vaporizer that looks similar to a real cigarette. The only difference in look is that it is around 1-1.5 CM longer than a real smoke. It is also heavier than a real smoke, because of the battery which resides on the end of the unit.

Inside of the unit is an atomizer (heating element), a battery, and a cartridge of nicotine (flavoured available). The VapourKing 510 does not automatically activate when you inhale, like some other ecigs do. When I asked them why, they said that it provides better control. I haven’t purchased one that does automatically activate, but I would imagine it wouldn’t work that well. I think it would be delayed in activating and would have an auto shut off.

Right up until actually receiving the unit, I was excited and counting the minutes until I could use it. I know what vaporizers are, because I have one that I use for other “herbs”. Vaporizers can be used for many things, including herbs, tobacco, and coffee. I noticed putting tobacco in my large vaporizer burns my throat. This is not so with the VaporKing 510, as it vaporizes straight nicotine.

There are many benefits to the “ECig”. One benefit is that you are vaporizing straight nicotine, so you are not inhaling all the tar and thousands of poisons that you would with real cigarettes. You can smoke (vaporize) anywhere, as there is no combustion involved and the unit is small enough to be portable. There is no smell and no second hand smoke at all.

The reason I chose the VaporKing 510 from ElectronicCigarettesInc was simple. When comparing to the other “ECigs” I have seen on the internet, the VaporKing was the only one that I found that allows you to buy refill fluids to save even more money. If you do end up purchasing this unit, I recommend you make sure to buy 1 pack of refill cartridges, some refill fluids, and the USB charger pack to carry your “ECig” with you anywhere. The USB charger pack will charge the battery automatically, and you can charge the pack by plugging it into a USB port. The charger pack can hold the battery, the atomizer (with a cartridge attached) and two additional cartridges.

I notice that the cartridges don’t last as long as they say, but this could be because I am a heavy smoker and heavily use the unit. I also think when you keep one spare in the charger pack, you loose some nicotine from the cartridge due to evaporation. Either that or the cartridges just don’t last long enough – for me.

Overall, I love the VaporKing 510. I am a heavy smoker, and find it very easy to replace a real smoke with an “ECig”. I actually prefer the “ECig” because it doesn’t cause any harm to my lungs, and I don’t have to freeze my ass off going outside to smoke.
